Some tricks & ideas for Diwali wrapping!

Diwali along with being the festival of light is inevitably a festival of gifts; we get some we give some. But what it drags along is the trauma to gift wrap items. Playing at Papers has been a shoulder for all your gifting needs, and we promise to stick around this time too! Here are five awesome ideas that you can use for Diwali DIY gift wrapping:

•    Go subtle:
They say that simplicity never goes out of trend and they are not wrong. Nothing can amplify the feel of a gift more than a regular gift wrapping paper with an irregular design embossed on it. Stripes, polka dots, and quirky prints can be your savior on such festive days.

•    The low-key gifting:
If you belong to the category that doesn’t believe in going overboard, you might as well dislike the idea of fancy gift wrappings. When you do not want to be extravagant and boring at the same time, all you have to do is wrap your gift with a regular brown paper, dip the back of a pencil in white or any color of your choice to turn the ordinary brown paper into a cute polka dot gift wrapping!

•    Get lacy:
Lace is an excellent prop to augment the look of your gifts. To witness the enchantment it can throw, just take a piece of lace paper and stick it on your gift wrapping once it is done.

•    Experiment!
A little innovation never hurts anybody. You can cut shapes like diyas, flowers etc. or just tie around tinkling threads for a novel guise.

•    Add-ons:
Gift tags are a great way to say something without actually saying it. Other than the personal touch, gift tags can immediately make a mediocre gift wrapping look like an eminent one.

You can also add glitter bows on the top to give your gift a little festive pump!
