7 simple ways to make the best gift hamper for family and friends!

Create your hamper and surprise your loved ones with their favourite things that have been specially hand picked by you .

Step 1 -Pick a theme.
To get on the right track you need to think of the likes and dislikes of the recipient. Keeping in mind their interests and hobbies for eg. gardening, reading, baking, etc. or it could be a food and drinks hamper eg. a coffee hamper, a tea hamper, or wine and. It's as simple as counting on your fingertips...

Step 2 - Selection of the items
All items should be well-coordinated and gel with each other. If it is a food and drinks hamper, choose luxury items that are reputable brands.  Take into account the allergies and aversions of the recipient. It clearly shows your lack of concern if you send dairy products to a vegan.

Step 3 -Selection of the container.
You can use can baskets or a wooden based open trunk. All the items on your list should fit well into the container. Preferably use something that can be reused or recycle.

Step 4 - Arranging the item
Line the container with some filler, which will keep the items protected. Take off the price tags of each product. Make sure they are individually packed and sealed. Place the larger items first and then fit the smaller ones in the space available. Each item should be visible and well fixed to the base.

Step 5 Avoid wrapping with cellophane.
If each product has been separately packaged and securely placed in your basket then you don’t need to wrap it with cellophane paper.. Especially if it’s being delivered personally.

Step 6 -Embellishments.
The container can be decorated with artificial flowers and ribbons from the outside so that it can be used as a decorative container even once the products are consumed and this adds on to your gift. You can also throw in a scented candle or some potpourri so that the gift not only looks good but smells good too.
Step 7 - Signing off
It’s always good to write a thoughtful note to the recipient which adds a personal touch. It makes the recipient feel special. Make sure you use good quality stationery for your gifts. Even better if the cards are personalized. Simple, neat handwriting without any errors on the page looks well finished. Try and write the note on a rough paper beforehand and then copy it on your final card.

Now you are ready to create an impressive hamper all by yourself.
