Gifitng Alcohol is an artful affair,still to be perfected.

    •

We've been gifting alcohol more frequently than ever before, but we still haven't learnt what's appropriate to give and when?

This could get confusing and there are high chances of making bad choices. Selecting the right alcohol to gift changes the spirit and the mood of the recipient.

Choose wisely!

Dizzying amounts of choices are available today so make sure you keep the following in mind before your ready with your gift.

Show some thought – Ideally one would choose the gift based on personal preferences, keeping in mind the likes and dislikes of the recipient. However, there may be times when one is unaware of it, well in that case you're on the right page.

 Age Factor

Consider the age of the recipient, Let’s say we have 3 categories

Options –Jagermeister( A digestif, closely related to gin), Cafe Patron (an extra premium tequila with the essence of coffee.)

If your budget is not very high then the best option is Beer. You can always present a well-wrapped hamper of beer cans to the youngsters so that they are happy to have their full stock. A few recommendations;

Indian Beers –Kingfisher light, Bira, White /Blonde/Dark.

Occasion –It's important to keep in mind how special the occasion is, whether its a dinner, house warming, birthday make your choice based on the occasion

 Presentation – if its a single bottle, hand it over in a bottle bag and neatly add a tag. Make sure you use good quality stationery and it looks neat and well finished. If its a hamper of beer cans you can send it privately before the occasion to underplay the gesture
